I love aguacate. I grew up in the Yucatan Peninsula, where aguacate (avocados) grow in people's backyards. I have found good avocados in my home grocery store here in Iowa.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

All you need are a few simple ingredients for the perfect guacamole. This version is filled with creamy avocados, fresh tomatoes, bits of jalapenos, and diced onion. Cilantro is a classic guacamole ingredient, but if you're not a fan leave it out. With the fresh ingredients, it will still be flavorful. Delicious for snacking or your next taco night.
