I just won a cooking contest with this recipe. It was sponsored by our local radio station. I had found it in my M-in-L's recipe file when she passed away. I entered it as a Green and Gold Potted Packer Pepper Dip. This sweet, sour, creamy, crunchy dip is like a Packer Party in your mouth. Any color bell pepper will work.

Ingredients For tina's green and gold potted packer pepper dip

  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    white granulated sugar
  • 16 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 lg
    green bell pepper, chopped (save the rest for garnish)
  • 1/2 lg
    yellow bell pepper, chopped (save the rest for garnish)

How To Make tina's green and gold potted packer pepper dip

    Bring Butter, vinegar and sugar to a boil in a small sauce pan.

    Beat into cream cheese.

    Fold in chopped pepper. Garnish with more chopped pepper if desired.
