I love appetizers and I love salmon, this really kicks it up a notch! You can put this on a toasted bagel open faced, put it on a ritz, or wrap it up in crescent rolls and bake it, chop the onions finely for that one lol.

Ingredients For slammin salmon in a caper coral

    bagels or 2 sleeves of ritz crackers
  • 8 oz
    salmon cream cheese spread
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot horseradish
  • 2 tsp
    dried dill weed, divided
  • 4 oz
    very thinly sliced nova salmon
  • 1 sm
    red onion, sliced very thin and broken into rings
  • capers for garnish, maybe 1 1/2 tablespoons

How To Make slammin salmon in a caper coral

    Split and toast bagels if you are using them

    In a bowl combine the cream cheese, lemon juice, horseradish, 1 teaspoon of dill weed.

    Spread a desired amount of salmon mixture on either the bagels or your Ritz.

    Top each with a small piece of salmon, then an onion ring or 2.

    Sprinkle capers in onion rings, sprinkle dill over all.

    If you want to turn these into a hot appetizer chop the red onions finely and mix all other ingredients together. You will want 2 crescent roll tubes.
