This is an easy inexpensive appetizer that is a crowd pleaser. Even those who don't care for salmon like it. The liquid smoke is the secret ingredient.

Ingredients For sassy salmon spread

  • 1 lb
    canned salmon
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 tsp
    grated onion
  • 1 tsp
    horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/4 Tbsp
    liquid smoke
  • 1/2 c
    choppped pecans
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped parsley

How To Make sassy salmon spread

    Remove all bones from the canned salmon. Using a fork, shred salmon into pieces.

    Mix all ingredients except pecans and parsely

    Form into desired shape. (ball, log, square etc.O

    Coat with pecans and parley. Chill two hours

    Serve with crackers or vegetables
