This turned out very yummy! I used Mission brand Spinach and Jalapeno Cheese flavored wraps. This recipe is perfect for a pot luck, a picnic, or game day.

Ingredients For southwest chicken wrap pinwheels

  • 8 oz pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 Tbsp
    light sour cream
  • 10 oz can
    rotel tomatoes*, drained
  • 1/2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese (i used tillamook triple cheddar blend)
  • 5
    green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4.25 oz can
    chopped olives
  • 1
    jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • 2 c
    cooked, shredded chicken
  • 4-5
    burrito size flour tortillas or wraps in assorted flavors

    Using a mixer, combine cream cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes, garlic, and seasonings.

    Using a spoon, stir in cheese, green onion, olives, jalapeno, and shredded chicken.

    Divide the mixture between the tortillas (I got four), spreading out evenly leaving about 1/2 inch border at the edge. Roll up tightly, and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour or until ready to serve.

    Remove from refrigerator and use a sharp knife to slice into 1-1/2" to 2" pieces.
