I am always on the hunt for new dishes to serve when entertaining. This one I found a long time ago (1980's) --and I am still serving it nearly thirty year's later!

Ingredients For hot appetizer casserole

  • 1
    package cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 Tbsp
    cream or half and half
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 1/2 oz
    dried beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish
  • Dash
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped

How To Make hot appetizer casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2
    Mix the first three ingredients together until well blended.
  • 3
    Add the remaining ingredients (except the pecans) and mix well and place in a small, shallow baking dish.

    Sprinkle the pecans over the top.
  • 5
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered.
  • 6
    Serve with crackers; refrigerate leftovers.
