If dumplings are your favorite part of Chinese take-out, then you need to try making them yourself! Fried Pork Dumplings are delicious. The ground pork filling is wrapped up in a wonton wrapper and steamed to perfection. Working with wonton wrappers isn't too difficult, but you do need to work fast. This Chinese dumpling recipe may not be what you're used to making, but it's well worth it. Serve with your favorite Chinese main dish and enjoy!

1/2 lbground pork

2 tspgarlic, finely minced

2green onions, green part only, chopped

2 tspfresh ginger, grated

1 tspchili garlic sauce/paste

20square wonton wrappers

1 tspcornstarch

1/3 ccold water

How To Make chinese fried pork dumplings

1Mix ground pork, garlic, green onions, ginger, rice vinegar, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil together using your hands until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

2Place 1-2 teaspoons of pork mixture into wonton wrappers, combine cornstarch and ⅓ cup cold water to make a slurry, and wet the edges of the wonton wrappers with it. Fold wonton wrapper in half to make a triangle, and then fold the corners over toward the center.

3Preheat oil and water in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until the water is simmering. Add the dumplings in a single layer, cover, and steam for 3 minutes or until the water evaporates. Uncover, and brown on both sides.

4Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
