I grew up eating taco burgers at a local fast-food restaurant. They no longer make the burger, so I decided to make my own but wanted a smaller slider version. A "funeral sandwich" recipe was my inspiration for developing this slider.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

These taco burger sliders could be an easy dinner or a game-day appetizer. Meaty, cheesy, and cheesy with great flavor, they're similar to a loose meat burger with a taco angle. Brushing melted butter on top of the dinner rolls means after baking them, the rolls are golden brown. Simple to throw together, these will be a crowd-pleaser.
