bacon crisps

This recipe was given to me by a hospital volunteer/co-worker. It is similar to my posted Bow-ties recipe yet prepared a bit differently. He used to bring these to our annual Christmas party and they are so good. I was always impressed because he baked them himself.

Ingredients For bacon crisps

  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg
    (sleeve) buttery rectangular crackers (club)
  • 1 lb
    sliced bacon cut in half

How To Make bacon crisps

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2
    Place one teaspoon of cheese on each cracker.
  • 3
    Wrap tightly with strip of bacon.
  • 4
    Place wrapped crackers on a broiler rack on a baking sheet and put in oven.

    Bake two hours or until bacon is done. Do Not Turn. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot or at room temperature.
