As a little boy, these were a favorite of my Uncle Ben...not only to eat, but because he loved to help make them! It's so easy and hands on, grab the kiddos and let them help.

Ingredients For olive cheddar puffs

2 cextra sharp cheddar, shredded

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 call purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tspsmoked paprika

48small stuffed olives (you can use pimiento, garlic, or blue cheese stuffed...suit your taste!)
How To Make olive cheddar puffs

1Blend cheese and butter. Stir in flour, salt, and paprika. (Don't be afraid to blend with your hands. That works best!)

2Wrap 1 tsp. dough around each olive, sealing all edges to make a ball.

3Bake at 400F for 15 minutes on greased cookie sheet. Remove from pan, let cool on rack 2-3 minutes, then serve immediately.

4VARIATION: you may use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar, along with jarred jalapeno slices instead of olives for a spicy, fun alternative!
