Ingredients For chili relleno pie

  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 2 can
    (7oz) iced green chiles
  • 1 lb
    jack cheese, shredded (i used mexican shredded)
  • 1 c
    buttermilk baking mix (bisquick)
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    milk

How To Make chili relleno pie

  • 1
    In a 9x13 baking dish, melt butter. Sprinkle chiles over butter. Spread cheese over chiles.

    In a bowl, mix buttermilk biscuit mix, eggs, salt and milk. Pour over cheese.

    Bake in preheated 350 over, 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top
