I was eager to see what went into your recipe as, being Italian myself, I have seen a lot of recipes for tomato sauce that just isn't anything like what I learned from my Mom and Aunts who taught me all the secrets of a good sauce... To my surprise, with the exception of the carrots, everything else was pretty much the same... more or less in the quantities... but then.. you really never know what your tomatoes are going to taste like...so the seasoning always changes!
