ok never mind i just searched for a dumpling recipe on here and got a blue ribbon one so i will try it that way ,, lol thanks

ok any one that can tell me what i do wrong when i make real chicken and dumplings some times the dumplings are great just right then other times they never get done in middle then other times they disappear all together ,, dissolve ,, i use flour ,crisco shorting ,, and make crumbs then a tiny bit of milk then kneed a little then roll out and cut in strips

This sounds so good. Am sure gonna try it, but one word here, At the beginning of Step 1, it says to preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then you go on to cook and cool and shred the chicken? That could take a while there...? I would preheat oven at the beginning of Step 2, and then proceed as stated.. lol. No use to waste our energy
