Oh I bet it would be good over pasta.
I buy the Hormel Bacon in the big box that has it bagged inside.
There is 4 slices to a pack....and it's fresh, you just nuke it 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. The bags are sealed with a towel inside, to soak up the bacon drippings...so when I want bacon drippings I fry it in a pan...=;D

I have found that using precooked bacon piece(from Sam's Club) work very good instead of frying and pulsing.
