I need to get mine done. Nothing fancy this year though. All I have on hand to top them with is cocoa powder, choc. sprinkles, & pink & white hearts. Oh & some nonpareils.
Here is my situation now. I live in a county with the population of a little over 2000. No close neighbors. Most of the people I know, go south for the winter & our friends about 80 miles away aren't coming now for Christmas dinner(supposed to have been tomorrow), because we are gonna have ice on the roads. Sooooo....it's just gonna be me & hubby & he eats them so fast , he doesn't know or care if they have anything on top. I usually do Christmas boxes & give out , but am slowing down on that.I do love doing my candies though, just not alot of access to many materials to fancy them up with. There is 1 grocery store in our whole county & it's slim pickins'. The closest Walmart is 50 miles one way.

LOL if you only knew. I was multitasking big time this morning when DH informed me that he wanted to take a platter of goodies into work. I dipped these, tossed on sprinkles and put them on a cookie sheet, then on our porch to set. I was also baking Bon Bon Cookies so powdered sugar and sprinkles were flying!

The tops look like every sprinkle has been strategically placed.

Thanks ladies! Peggi, it seemed to go very quickly as I made the filling yesterday and stored it in the fridge. This morning, I melted milk chocolate chips (and a little vegetable shortening), dipped and sprinkled! Fun stuff and VERY quick.
