I was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, so you have to know that I have a deep appreciation for cheese. Especially on pizza, mac and cheese and potatoes au gratin. Since I moved to the Pacific Northwest 34 years ago, my pallet for fine foods has been broadened exponentially. The sea food here is incredible and I really enjoy trying new things. I will share my recipe for a sea food chowder that I make in late fall. It's a real heart stopper and a budget killer, but it is so rich and delicious. Serve with a hot garlic buttered loaf of sour dough bread. I hope that you like it.
