Being from the south, I cook my veggies with salt, pepper, and bacon grease for flavor. I do not fry a lot of things because I do not care for grease splatter everywhere, but I do fry pork chops and cube steak (and then bake the cube steak in gravy). I am trying to start being more health oriented and change some of my cooking habits to help us lose some weight. I am usually cooking for a minimum of four or five people, but that number can easily grow to six to eight on Saturdays. I love Mexican and red meat and sometimes chicken. Love fish but not tried cooking it yet. Soon though.
