This group is dedicated to all of those people who still love food but, who prefer to eat a mostly plant-based diet. We still love dessert, and fun casseroles, and comfort food. Most of all we love to feed people those things that feed our souls.
I eat vegetarian at least 4 to 5 days a week in an effort to reduce the acid in my body as well as lose weight. I eat what I want on the weekends and at special events with family and friends. Vegetarian fare is new to me as I am a New Orleans native and Italian. I have collected some tried and true good vegetarian recipes I will share and would love to see some posted on this wonderful site for those of us wanting to eat healthy during the week so we can sin on the weekends. I would LOVE to hear from all those who are interested!
