I know Copeland's restaurant isn't nation-wide, so most of you probably haven't even heard of it, unless you've been to New Orleans, but they serve THE most incredible bread pudding I have EVER had! White Chocolate bread pudding with a (?) white chocolate... something-something (maybe vanilla) sauce.
It is SO good that the last time we were in New Orleans (actuall Slidell) I ate one after my meal and ordered four to go!!! I know...crazy, right?!!?
Sooooo, since my hub has had a stroke, and it doesn't look like I'm going to be going to NOLA for a loooong time, I'm looking for a copycat recipe for this stuff. ANY help will be MOST welcome!!
To those of you who are creative with spices this might sound silly......I would like to have a recipe for the canned ranch style beans. I love them but it is expensive to buy enough cans for a whole family to enjoy so I would like to be able to make them myself. With just a bit of meat they would make a tasty dinner. Any ideas of the combination of spices that would duplicate the sauce they are canned in?
I have a cookbook in PDF file for many of the restuarant recipes. If you would like me to email it to you give me your email address and I will send it off. I tried to post the link here but it is too large. Here is a few that are in it.
