I'm hosting Christmas Eve Day lunch for the gang. Vegan daughter is bringing her friend who is vegetarian and has a gluten allergy. We've been doing just appetizers/snacks/munchies/cookies the past few years. By the time the kids (and adults) tasted all the nibbles before dinner they no longer wanted dinner, so I quit cooking dinner!
I'd like to do something similar to cocktail wieners in a sauce or little meatballs in a sauce, like...remember the sauce you could make with grape jelly and chili sauce? You just warmed that up in a crockpot and simmered tiny meatballs in it. Sooo good. Anyway is there a product I could use to make "meatballs" that isn't all mushy and sticky or a brand of vegan "sausages" that would be minus wheat products?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
There used to be a spot at the top of the discussion group page that indicated how many recipes there were. Don't see that anymore, or am not recognizing it as such.

P.S. Let me know if something needs tweaking!

There's a vegan recipe (chocolate avocado pudding) that is really really good in the "recipes for love" contest! Looks like it's made it to the top three!!!
I just think this is great. I feel like a lot of times people are not interested in trying or hearing about vegan recipes, so the fact that this recipe is getting so much attention is great to me. I tried the recipe, love it, and voted for it! I think we all should :)
