A CHALLENGE FOR YOU!

I guess this would kind of like RSC. I saw a menu item & I thought it would be fun to see what we all came up with for a recipe. SO....I will post the menu item title & anyone who wishes to, can create a dish they think fits the title. If you want we can make each others' recipes & even vote which one we like best/suits the title best. Here goes:

Farro salad, cucumbers, za'atar, ricotta salata

Happy creating!
Beth

NA/ME TAG!!

Easy peasy...find a recipe that fits the North African/Middle eastern region of our planet & post that you're making it. After you've eaten, reviewed & perhaps photographed said recipe, come back here to tell us all about it!

It would be great if we found recipes on this site alone, but...I'm not gonna be the recipe police. Feel free to add your recipes to the group, as long as they represent the region. If you're not sure, just ask!

Here is a list of countries, in alphabetical order (I hope)

Algeria
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Bahrain
Cyprus
Egypt
Iran
Iraq
Israel
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Libya
Morocco
Oman
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Syria
Tunisia
Turkey
United Arab Emirates
Yemen

Happy cooking!

Welcome!

We are gathered here today to explore & enjoy the foods of North Africa & the Middle East. The region includes, but not limited to & can be up for discussion:

I'll stop there. If anyone feels strongly about any country, it's up for discussion!

What is NOT up for discussion, is politics & religion )except in general terms). For example, we can celebrate Ramadan. But please don't bring any headlines into the Forum!

Thank you & welcome!
