I started this group discussion because often I find baking items and I'm not sure how to use it!I am not an expert about fancy baking tools/utensil's. I go garage/yard/estate sale shopping for baking items that I couldn't otherwise afford to by new. Often, I find items for baking (different shaped pans , etc.) but don't know what they are used for. Sometimes I'll buy them, then search the internet for images of the item so I can figure out what it's used for, but I'm not always successful. I'm hoping that perhaps by posting photo's/descriptions, my J-A-P friends can help me and others. Happy Baking!
Has anyone ever experienced a problem with their gas ovens not being calibrated correctly? For some reason, mine has started either under-cooking at specified temps/times, or over-cooking. Does anyone know how one goes about correcting this issue? It is a fairly new range, and not a cheap one, like I said, it has just started doing this.
