2 lbs of beef or lamb
3 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of oil
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup crushed tomatoes or 2 medium tomatoes chopped
salt to taste
*You can also use 1 cup dry white great northern beans, soaked over-night and cooked in the morning until they are half-done
Boil meat in a pot until tender, In another pot, fry the garlic in oil on medium heat until it becomes transparent, add the beans and continue to fry for 1 minute. Then add tomatoes and add water and tomato paste,stir until the mixture is well-blended, bring the mixture to a boil, let it boil for 15 minutes, lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
serve with rice and green salad.
