This is a group for cooks who have found recipes that are too good "not" to share with their friends. I find so many scrumptious recipes that I don't want anybody to miss out on. So, share your most prized recipes right here with your Cook Buddies!

Hello,
I am always on the look out for some delicious and easy to fix recipes that are quick to make. If you have such a recipe (s) please share them here with your Cook Buddies. I just ran home for lunch and threw a lasagna together for tonights supper. That got me to thinking that I need more recipes that I can fix ahead and pop in the oven when I get home.
Hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Well, I'm just sitting here enjoying a nice cup of coffee on this chilly and rainy Easter afternoon. Who comes to mind...my cook buddies. Sorry. I haven't been a very good host for this group. I'll try to do better. Seems like I don't cook as much as I used to. I love to look through your recipes. I think that I have over 3,000 JAP recipes saved.
I hope that you all had a blessed Easter.
Until next time, thanks for being a part of this group!

life is always moving forward.

One of my favorite "bar" cookies to make is Blarney Stone Bars...

I made a batch of these up for women's bible study last night and they loved them. The combination of oats, pecans and heath toffee bits make these bars sensational! They are great for anytime really. I added a homemade frosting to them and it made them even better. I just updated the recipe so the frosting may not show for a bit but it is here in Just a Pinch as well. Blarney Stone Bars

I've never had a turkey and cranberry sandwich, not until 5 years ago, and after I came across this recipe, which was posted by Emily Mathews at food.com. The turkey and cranberry sauce goes so well together, plus the bacon, mayo, and provolone cheese, brings this sandwich over the top. I love this sandwich, and hope others will give it a try!
