HAPPY TUESDAY MORNING!

How are you this morning? Are you enjoying your coffee as much as I am? We have no snow as yet, just rained during the night. What are your plans for today? Have you gotten your Christmas tree up and all decorated pretty? I need to get several packages together and get them mailed tomorrow.
We got an unexpected visit from a out of state friend last night. A Girlfriend that I used to work with and became coffee buddies moved to Ohio several years ago. Sure do miss her. Her husband was in town and dropped me off a Christmas present last night. I did not have hers together. So, I will mail it.

Have A Warm And Enjoyable Day!

HAPPY MONDAY MORNING

I am very late this morning. I have been shopping for the Grandchildren on Amazon. Almost done. I have to check a few things while I am out today. What are your plans for today? Going shopping at Dollar Tree, Walmart and Michaels for a few things. That about takes up the day. Fixing a salad for lunch.

Have A Wonderful Day!
Stay Warm!

Zach's First Ornament

This is a picture of him hanging his first ornament on the tree all by himself. I'm so glad they shared this picture with me.

Our Family Thanksgiving Album

Anita and Josh brought the children to Tennessee the weekend of DeLena's birthday, and we had an early Thanksgiving celebration. My brother and sister were also able to attend, along with their children and grandchildren. We had 17 for dinner, plus a wonderful time! I posted a photo album of our festivities.

Brand New Picture

Little Ian Joseph tickles me. He always looks perpetually surprised! Anita just sent me this picture.
I can't wait for Christmas. We get to go to Indianapolis Dec 28 - Jan 1.

HAPPY SUNDAY MORNING!

How are you this morning? What are your plans? It is a rainy morning. Called my Dad as I do every morning, he said it was snowing. He lives 98 miles north of us. Not much planned for me today. Trying to see what the Grandchildren want for Christmas. Will Do most of that on Amazon.

Have A Blessed Sunday!
Hugs

SUCH A SAD TIME

It's been a while since I've logged into Just A Pinch. We have been experiencing a horrific event here in our area. You may have seen it in the news, or maybe not - the national news has been extremely silent on it.
Our beloved Smoky Mountains, and the towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have been hit by devastating wild fires. Satellite photos show a burn area about the size of Manhattan. Here is a link to a video about it, and I'm including some statistics. They hoped to reopen some areas by Wednesday, but it's Saturday, and still nothing is open to the public yet. Responders are still having trouble getting into the fire areas. In addition, new fires are still starting, and arsonists are still at work!
Unbelievable new video shows the #GatlinburgWildfire in Tennessee burning Monday night.
Latest wildfire info:
- 13 Confirmed Deaths
- 85+ Injured
- 17,859 Acres Burned (well over the size of Manhattan in NYC)
- Around 1,000 structures damaged or destroyed
- The wildfire is 10% contained
- 458 total personnel on scene
- The wildfire was human-caused and is currently under investigation at this time
- Officials hope to open Gatlinburg to the public by Wednesday
