I'll only be doing a few mile run/walk today with my pups to get out of the house but then... nap time! YES!

So, tomorrow I'm running in a 5k race & am preparing for a half on 12/1. I've been fighting a sinus infection for a couple of weeks so my mileage has been way down.
In addition to running I like weight lifting type stuff. I started with Chalean Extreme but got tired of watching the videos over and over so know I just do my own stuff.
Ashley, sounds like you are an evening exerciser. I've got to do it as soon as I wake up in the mornings or it will never happen.

I'm back and today I have a "long" run to make up, so a 4 miler tonight. Wish me luck!

I want to welcome and invite anyone who is a runner, jogger, walker, or anyone who forces themselves to do any of those things so they can eat the scrumptious food on this site! I'd also like to welcome anyone who is trying to cahnge their lifestyle and incorporate an exercise regimen. Also, I'm here to help with that as well!
A little info about me... I am dating a marathon man and he somehow turned me into an avid runner myself. No, there aren't any marathons in my future, but there are plenty of 10k's and 5k's that I plan on racing. I have lots of recipes that are perfect for runners(usually men who want to keep weight on)with lots of protein and carbs. For those of you who like to eat like me, I also have the lower carb recipes that give just the right amount of nutrients for the energy you need to burn all those calories.
