Plants that have been genetically engineered to contain pesticide have invaded our food. Since they were introduced into our food in the 90's food allergies have increased over 400%! This group is to discuss how to avoid genetically modified organisms (GMO's) by using Certified Organic ingredients and how to modify recipes to make sure they are free of GMO's.

California has a grass roots campaign to require food manufacturers to label whether or not their product contains genetically modified ingredients. If you live in California, please visit the website and educate yourself on the dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMO's) and VOTE this November!
