We are a club of retirees that meet monthly in The Villages, Florida.

We ask you please do not "SHARE" your recipes with this group unless you live in The Villages, Fl.

We use this site to share with our members the recipes of food that we bring to our meetings and eat together. If you live in The Villages and would like to join this group, please do so. We would also love to have you meet with us the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Seabreeze rec center at 12 noon.

COOKBOOK EXCHANGE AND HOLIDAY LUNCHEON for Dec 2012

What does everyone love? RECIPES! So please wrap 1 or more cookbooks in a beautiful enticing holiday package and put a pretty bow on it, then dress in a holiday style, and bring a dish that you'd love to share with the club and come on out to Seabreeze on 12/18/12 at 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and meet with all the foodies!

Your cookbook can be used,

hand written with your own recipes,

new, or whatever!

Low cost idea

Maybe you just want to go to your favorite food blog and print all the recipes out and bind it together with a pretty bow!

It's all about sharing recipes and food together. And guess what? You don't gain any weight by just looking at the recipes! BONUS! I know we are all busy this time of year so plan what you want to prepare now, and wrap your cookbook now so it's ready.

You aren't going to want to miss this wonderful opportunity to hear Sunny share her cooking experiences on her journey through life. Here's a little background on this dynamic and knowledgeable lady!

Sunny Jennings, founder of Tantra Cooking, has studied foods, nutrition and cooking methods all over the world. The cooking passion claimed her as a young girl and she took over the food preparation duties in her home by the age of 12. While her own home’s recipes were simple, she was exposed to gourmet food preparation in the homes of friends and teachers. By age nineteen, she worked behind the scenes of a local cooking show, learning as much about food preparation as camera work, eventually earning degrees in both nutrition and journalism before going on to graduate school.

While making her living in finance, Sunny was able to travel the world, working with chefs and natives between business meetings. Travel and food gripped her to the point that her vacations were spent traveling the world for more cooking classes anywhere the food called to her. In the United States, she often hired chefs she admired to stay after hours in their restaurants, to teach her their recipes and techniques. Her children were Gianni pigs to both fabulous recreations from abroad and several of her own recipes made with organic, native foods.

Both health and personal issues caused Sunny to make her Florida winter home her fulltime home. At that time, she decided to embrace her passion and make cooking even more central to her world. She learned a more social way, a more enjoyable way, to cook and bring joy into her kitchen. Now, great friendships, family relationships and food are all created in her kitchen.
