Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich... "YUM"

I've never had a turkey and cranberry sandwich, not until 5 years ago, and after I came across this recipe, which was posted by Emily Mathews at The turkey and cranberry sauce goes so well together, plus the bacon, mayo, and provolone cheese, brings this sandwich over the top. I love this sandwich, and hope others will give it a try!

Going back to work

Hi, everybody!

I have been extremely fortunate for the past 27 1/2 years to be able to be self employed (at times) / work part time (at other times). Now, with one child left at home (almost 16), it is my turn, and I have accepted a full time, benefits eligible position about 30 minutes from home.

As the excitement toward my start date (July 21) mounts, so does the knowledge that I've got to get meals organized, planned, and at least partially prepared on the weekends.

I'm looking for recipe suggestions. When left to fend for themselves, my husband and son end up with rice and beans most nights. Some nights, just for variety, they have beans and rice. My son is a football player and wrestler, so the bottomless pit is a very real thing.

All suggestions are welcome - I need help!

Thank you.

Potato Flautas

When I am in a hurry, I make these. I make some mashed potatos. Heat up a tortilla and spoon in some mashed potatoes, roll it up and fry it. Top it with some guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Or if I have some mole sauce, top them with that. Easy and yummy.

Here is a site I stumbled upon in Pinterest. It is a site that you type ingredients that you have on hand in the fridge and it pulls up recipes to use. Hope you enjoy this site. It is called =D

Easy dinner tonight.

I am making such a simple dinner tonight. We are having sloppy joes, made with ground chicken breast, fresh broccoli (cooked) and just for a little extra, leftover homemade mushroom soup with white beans. And leftover apple pie from last nights dinner!

It Couldn't Be Any Simplier

Pork Chops and Stuffing

This is so very simple and fast and easy to prepare. Just have your pork chops thawing out. Then prepare and dinner is on the table in an hour. Or you could also put this in your crock pot and it will be ready as soon as you get home.
