I just survived another holiday season with no allergie crisis, but it is never easy. My favorite foods used to be things like pecan pie and nut brownies. And I know its got to be even harder for families with kids who are allergic.

Finding substitutes for nuts has been difficult. I welcome your ideas and recipes. Please feel free to contribute anything you have found to be helpful.

Hello, I am new to Just a Pinch. This product may have already been discussed. If so, just disregard this post. Has anyone tried Sunbutter? It is a butter made from sunflower seeds processed in a peanut and tree nut free facility. (however, not soy free). I too, have a nut issue, and this stuff is fantastic. You can find it in the health food section at Kroger.
