Eric's phone call

After a very busy day, a commuter settled down in her seat and closed her eyes as the train departed Montreal for Hudson.

As the train rolled out of the station, the guy sitting next to her pulled out his cell phone and started talking in a loud voice:
"Hi sweetheart its Eric, Im on the train yes, I know its the six thirty and not the four thirty but I had a long meeting no, honey, not with that floozie from the accounts office, with the boss.
No sweetheart, youre the only one in my life yes, Im sure, cross my heart etc., etc."

Fifteen minutes later, he was still talking loudly , pledging his fidelity.

when the young woman sitting next to him, who was obviously angered by his continuous diatribe, yelled at the top of her voice:
Hey, Eric, get off that stupid phone and come back to bed!

Eric doesn’t use his cell phone in public any more.

I would have done the same thing, Jan, had I been the cashier. There's a time and place for everything and in public is not the time nor place to be on a personal phone call.

She was a trip. She was a realtor on the phone with a client. Should have taken care of business elsewhere in my opinion!

Had I been the cashier, i'd have closed her transaction, asked (told) her to step aside and took care of the next customer...yeah, I'm a bitch like that...
And the woman thought the cashier was rude???? what a trip she is...
