Thanks, Rose. I'm so glad she took the time to teach me. My sisters cook now but they don't have the passion for it like I do.

Thank you Rose. I owe my love of cooking to my mother. She would call me and my sisters into the kitchen and teach us. My sisters didn't care that much about cooking so she I were mainly in the kitchen and I got to benefit one on one. She passed away in 1994 but we are keeping her memories alive by preparing her favorite dishes for the newer generations.

Was just looking through the cookbooks and saw this one that you created. Wanted to tell you that I think it's neat that you put your mother's picture on the cover. What a wonderful tribute to your mom. I'm sure she would be so pleased. She sure is/was a beautiful woman. 5/20/12
