No family. Just a few old friends. I will be going to the Fl shore this year ,thanks to the insistence of my daughter and her family. I'll send you an email with "more Jerome Historical" comments. pj

I am sorry about losing your wife. My husband and I have been married for 41 years and I can't imagine my life without him. So you have been gone from Western NY for a good while. Do you still have family there? We do, but don't go back as often as we used to. We head further south if anything.

We moved to Italy from Hamburg. Then to Ft. Monmouth,NJ then to Bham upon our retirement. My wife and I both retired as government employees. We traveled to the Beach and passed thru FlorAla sometimes 4 times a year on our way to the the Fl or Ala shore. My wife has since passed on and I rarely get there any longer. I read you were Bills fans in your Bills Football Soup rx and was shocked to see y'all were from dem parts. Thanks for the "tipoff" and your wonderful cookbook.

How did you end up in Birmingham? We moved from Lockport, NY in 1989 with GM and then when we retired we moved as far south in Alabama as we could. To Florala, have you heard of it? It is on 331 S on the way to the beach. Nice town, but no place to shop unless you count the Piggly Wiggly. I do miss TOPS and Wegmans from NY.
