Nancy, This sounds so perfect...just what I pictured. I can't wait til my oven is fixed or I get my toaster oven! I've heard of cream of tartar but I never used it. Is it easy to find in the spice shelves? Does it have a flavor of its own? Why do we use it? Sorry to have somany questions, but I like to understand somwthing before I use it. TY mom! Down to 4 Walla onions & planning on using 1.5 more tomorow. "Meatloaf for Onion Lovers","Vidalia Onion Casserole" & "Kasha Varnishkas" [cooked on stove top only for kasha], I can't thank you enough Mom!

Lots of love from your daughter, Bobbi xoxo

Hi Mom!

I can't get to the recipes on the book. When I select the recipe box {between the home and the exclamation ! [pinched] it takes me to your home page. Is there anyway you can send me the recipe on page 86 by itself?

I hope you had a great weekend! I just got done making bruschetta with cheese & cucumber, onion & radish salad & an Oreo cookie pie. Yummy! I'm going to get off this computer to make chopped liver. BTW everything except the oreo pie used those lovely Walla onions you sent me. I also used them in my "meatloaf for onion lovers" yesterday. I want to make my vidalia onion casserole but I have the broken oven issue. I think I'llmake it and take it to the neighbors' again...they're a wonderful retirement-age couple. I'm blessed by my neighbors! I think my mom is coming up on Tues to buy me a toaster oven [a large one]! My mom is 85 &, like you, still drives & has more energy than I do! ;-)

TY Carol! So obvious, but I didn't think of it. My oven currently isn't working but I'll let you know when I check it out!

How about just making one with the fruit and don't add any fruit? I think that would work.

Nancy, another beautifully organized cook book! My mouth is watering... I just found out that my oven isn't working or I'd be in the kitchen now!
